Introduction & Overview

Our core business is to focus on delivering structured primary and secondary prevention substance misuse education to staff and pupils in educational establishments and industry. We utilise a realistic, firm yet fair approach in achieving the training objectives set out in our presentation plans and training documentation, delivering practical and honest information to support policy and practice.

Presentation & Training Courses Available

The following presentations and courses are available to you through DRED UK; the DANOS units to which courses are mapped are identified on each course template.

Drugs Presentation - Overview of the current UK drug situation including: drug identification, signs symptoms & effects of specific drug types.

Alcohol & Tobacco Presentation - Aimed at schools, colleges and industry to provoke debate, identify the associated risks and concerns of the UK drinking and smoking culture.

Introductory Drugs Course - Excellent for personnel who understand very little about substance misuse and wish to set a benchmark from which to learn.

Basic Drugs Course - An extension of the introductory course allowing more time to discuss and develop knowledge and skills.

Advanced Drugs Course - A more comprehensive course including modules on interacting with individuals, supporting them to access and use services and facilities.

Drug & Alcohol Refresher - As arranged by client to incorporate revision of DANOS units previously delivered by DRED UK or another training provider.

Drugs in the workplace - This course identifies key issues with current drug and alcohol policy & practice in the workplace.

DRED UK is committed in the delivery of the above training modules across the whole of the UK; the prices detailed above are negotiable, they set the benchmark for you to calculate training budgets on. The costs stated above are not inclusive of accommodation or travelling expenses and currently exclude VAT.

Discounts

In addition multiple presentations and courses will result in significant discounts being offered. DRED UK reserves the right to apply cancellation charges in accordance with our terms and conditions of agreement.
