Drugs Presentation 2 hrs £250 Overview of the current UK drug situation including: drug identification, signs symptoms & effects of specific drug types. UK National Drug Strategy, legal aspects, the business case. Aimed at raising awareness on substance misuse issues whilst having the opportunity to challenge attitudes openly in debate, answer questions and promote the health and safety of all concerned.

Covering DANOS units AD1, AD4
Alcohol & Tobacco Presentation 2 hrs £250 Same format as above: aimed at raising awareness on the National Alcohol Strategy. This presentation is an interesting and very informative delivery on alcohol and tobacco issues. Aimed at schools/ colleges and industry to provoke debate, identify the associated risks and concerns of the UK drinking and smoking culture.

Introductory Drugs Course 1/2 day
(3 hrs)		 £350 A brief overview of the global and UK illicit drug situation, including drug trends, test knowledge base of substance misuse issues, inter-active learning using table top exercise work, challenging attitudes to substances. What are drugs? What do they do? Workplace policy and drugs laws. Excellent for personnel who understand very little about substance misuse and wish to set a benchmark from which to learn.

Covering DANOS units AA1, AD1, AD4
Basic Drugs Course 1 day
(6 hrs)		 £600 *
£900**		 This is an extension of the introductory course and takes you through additional DANOS units: recognising substance misuse indications, promoting choice well-being and the protection of individuals. This course allows more time to discuss and develop knowledge and skills further in identifying problematic substance misuse issues so as to information share to benefit individuals.

Covering DANOS units AA1, AA6, AC1, AD1, AD4

Advanced Drugs Course 1 1/2 - 2 days £150 per person A more comprehensive course to include modules on interacting with individuals, supporting them to access and use services and facilities. An enhanced delivery of the previous DANOS units. In addition includes risk assessment module, addiction and dependency, debate drug testing, human rights.

Covering DANOS units AA1, AA2, AA3, AA6, AC1,AC3, AD1, AD4, AE1.

Notes:
1. Residential or daily attendance.
2. Max 20 / Min 8 attendees.
Drug & Alcohol Refresher 1/2 - 1 day See Note As arranged by client to incorporate revision of DANOS units previously delivered by DRED UK or another training provider.

Note: costs based on the same rates as above and are negotiable dependent on number of attendees, venue and course content.
Drugs in the Workplace 1/2 day & 1 day See Note This course identifies key issues with current drug and alcohol policy & practice in the workplace. Ideal for all personnel involved in supervision, health and safety, occupational health, human resources, even corporate social responsibilities that are involved in benefiting the health and social well-being of their employees and the communities around them.

Notes: max 16 attendees per course, courses will be tailored to specific needs; although the website will be detailing forthcoming prearranged courses and venues to request places.
